ACP2424 Product Page

Borne out of the need for clean, acoustical ceilings and to eliminate the wet ceiling tiles created by the HVAC grill.
Objective : An affordable product that would absolutely accomplish this feat and remain unnoticed to keep the AESTHETICS of the ceiling design intact and not change the effectiveness of the heat and A/C system.

Results : An injection molded frame that surrounds the HVAC grill made of Eastman Durastar polymer DS2010. The ACP 2424 snaps into the grid where the HVAC grill is installed, going .750in. above the grid and .750in. below the grid. The section above the grid stops any moisture from the grill reaching the grid or the acoustical tile. The section below the ceiling redirects the air flow from horizontal to an angle of about 12-14 degrees. This forms an air dam between the air flow pattern and the ceiling stopping even dust from foot traffic reaching the ceiling. Made in a crystal clear material it goes virtually unnoticed.
